The first part of this website will focus on the history of the NYC Mafia, especially it's reign of power in the 20's and 30's. The Mafia was very organized as far as chain of command goes. That's why you will also see a section dealing with the five families that ran The Commission. In New York, five families in particular had almost complete control over the city. These five families worked together in an organization that came to be known by different names, including The Commission, La Cosa Nostra, The Syndicate, and simply the Mafia.
Another part of this website will focus on La Cosa Nostra's enforcer arm, which came to be known as Murder Inc. Led by men like Albert Anastasia, this ruthless organization had one purpose, and that purpose was to kill. Whenever anybody became a "problem" for The Commission, they called on Murder Inc. to "solve the problem".
The Website also takes a second to focus on the bigger names to come out of La Cosa Nostra. These were men who particularly stood out for their cunning and/or ruthlessness.
Finally, you'll find a section on me, which includes my resume and some general information about some of the things I'm involved in here at school.
