Susan and I in Gatlinburg I have been very blessed to have met several very special people that have become my best friends. It is very rare that you discover friendships that you know will last a lifetime. Susan Lynn Savage and I became friends during our first semester at college together. Because she is from Alabaster, I knew of her but had never formally met her. For everyone else that knew the both of us, it was funny to them that we weren't truly related because we actually could pass for sisters...if not twins! Not only do we look very similar, Susan and I share so many of the same values and morals that have helped to make our friendship stronger. We can almost complete each others thoughts and sentences! Over the course of our friendship, we have enjoyed taking trips to the beach, as well as a post-Christmas adventure to Gatlinburg. Susan is currently in Nursing School at Jefferson State Community College. She is very passionate about nursing and I am so proud of how far she has come toward reaching her goal. She is absolutely one of the hardest working people I know. I am so grateful to have her as a friend, as well as my motivator to continue on the Christian path of life.

Becca and I at Stix When I began at the University of Montevallo, I made the decision to go through formal recruitment in order to become part of the Greek community on campus. It was through this process that I met Rebecca Mae Long. On Bid Day, we ran together to the sorority that would bond us together for a lifetime. Our friendship is almost effortless, and regardless of the circumstances, I know that she will always be there for me. She has been my rock through so many situations that arise as time passes during the college years. Through Phi Mu, we have also gotten to share many great experiences including formals, mixers, sisterhoods, and just fun times on the sorority hall. We also have been to nation conference in Georgia, as well as the beach several times together. Becca is the most independent person I know and I have learned so much through her. Growing up as an only child I have always been catered to, but Becca has truly taught me special qualities of being an independent woman. She is a History major and will one day be a successful college professor.

Bri and I at the Winfrey Brianne and I have been friends since we were in elementary school together. Both of our families are very close and like our friendship, have continued to grow closer. Bri and I played softball together as little girls, but other than that experience, she and I differ in the fact that she was always very athletic and sporty, where as I was more of a girly-girl. Since graduating together, Bri has met the man of her dreams and gotten married. She had beautiful wedding and I had the pleasure of being her Maid of Honor. In March of 2009, she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl names Rylie Brilyn. Sadly, she lives in Mobile, Alabama now and I don't get to see her that often. However, she is finishing her degree at the University of South Alabama and maintaining a household. I admire Brianne and enjoy our time that we do get to spend together.
