This is LuluBelle, the inspiration for this site.

This is LuluBelle. She is the inspiration for creating this website for Chihuahua lovers such as myself. I adopted her only a year ago and already she has made herself a permanent fixture in my family and my home. LuluBelle is a Deerhead and Applehead Chihuahua mix who loves chasing a ball and barking at the neighbors.

LuleBelle at only a few weeks old. She had to crawl into her food dish because it was taller than her.

I rescued LuluBelle from a litter of unwanted puppies which were going to be sent to a shelter. She weighed less than one pound and nearly ate her weight in food. She has always been a quick learner and it did not take her long to figure out how to reach the big dog food. LuluBelle always provides my family and myself with a good laugh.
