This is my mother, here name is Marleaneryan Cleveland. You probably have a hard time pronouncing her name like most individuals so most of the time they call her "mollie" for her nickname. My mom is currently in her 50's and grew up most of her life in Bronx, NY. She came to Birmingham when she was 19 years old and has been here every since. She currently works for CVS Distribution Center in Bessemer, AL where she drives a motor in the warehouse. She has been there over 10 years. I really dont have alot of family I'm close wit besides my mother and my pop, so they are the ones that really make up my close knit family. I can honestly say without my mom in my life I honestly dont know where I would be at this point. My mom is not only a parent to mom, she is quite frankly my best friend.

This Gary McGee, he has been the constant male figure in my life since I was an infant. Though he isn't my biological father there is nothing in the world he wouldnt do for me. For most of the years I have simply referred to him as my "pop". I find it funny that most of my friends even call him "pop" too!! I guess people feel comfortable enough with him to call him that just like I would. Things have not always been great with him though, my pop has undergone multiple kidney transplants, numerous infections in his body, pneumonia, and the most frightening incident happened when he went into a diabetic coma for over a week. You can imagine that he has had alot more doctor visits then the average person. Though, my pop has had these health issues since I was young he never used them as an excuse and did the best he could. The most important lesson I have learned from him is that, there are people who are in bad situations and let the world know for pity. Then there people who are in bad situations and let the world know that they are still strong.

The last piece to the puzzle which makes my home visits hilarious as soon as I walk through the door is my Godfather. His name is Kenneth Scott and he works for Birmingham City Hall as a security guard. He and my pop have been friends since high school. My Godfather is always making me laugh, and always has some kind of joke to tell. He is a HUGE Alabama fan and gets extremely upset when you talk about the Tide. I took this picture because it shows my Godfather favorite past time EATING!!!! He loves to eat and will let anyone know it, I have seen him some of the craziest things from alligator to wild game sandwiches bought from the side of the road!!!! Either way I love him the same because he has sacrifaced alot during the years for me. The biggest issue is when I come home and he is at my house my mother tells us, "One of you are going to have to leave because I can't feed both of you!!!!!".
