My name is Brent Bozeman and i've been playing tennis for about 11 years now. Ever since I started playing I fell in love with the sport. Me and my dad would go out and hit balls for hours almost every daay. I played in middle school, high school, and in college. My junior and senior year in high school I played #1, making it to the state tournament each time, finishing quite well. When I graduated high school I was offered a full-ride to Central Alabama Community College, where I played position 5 my first year and 3 my second, going to Nationals each time. I was nationally ranked in the top 30's my sophomore year. Once I finished my two years I was invited to play on UAB's tennis team, but i decided i would only do school for the time being and then try and play once I was settled in.
I never ended up playing on the team, shortly transferring to Montevallo. I am currently a teaching pro at the Pelham Racquet Club, where I am able to recieve anyone who would like to take lessons! I work there most of the time stringing racquets and teaching lessons to all ages and level of players. My hopes are that before I graduate Montevallo the school will develop a men's tennis team. I know the womens coach very well from my younger years and he says they will hopefully have a mens team by 2010. I would love to be able to play at the University while I finish up my classes; but for now my plans are continuing in the tennis business while I work to graduate from the University of Montevallo.
